Lazy-hazy Tuesday.

Yesterday, I went snowboarding, which was several oodles of fun. The nice thing about living in California is that you have about every variant of weather available to you within a 2-hour drive. It was fun, except for me falling a lot and getting cut on my face by RAZOR-SHARP SNOW (call me a wimp, but it hurt) and falling a lot and getting snow in my pants and having my butt get wet. Yeah.

Today would best be described as a lazy-hazy Tuesday. I woke up, and was immediately regretful. My ankle was sore, my back was sore, and it hurt to look up or down. So I slept a lot.

Around 7:00 PM, I had to take my little sister to her Taekwondo class, so I lurched out of bed and grabbed whatever clothing was available. This ended up being a Hawaiian shirt that my sister gave me when she came back from her trip (from Hawaii, of all places) and a pair of wrinkled jeans hiding in the corner. It was not what one would call, a clean-looking outfit.

I’m about to head out the door to the Petemobile when my dad yells at me from the kitchen to get three pounds of potatoes and some milk. Ugh.

So I drop my sister off, and I head into the nearby not-so-supermarket. As I’m filing into line, it dawns on me how I must appear to the cashier: funny-looking Asian boy in emo glasses, louder-than-Kid-Rock Hawaiian shirt and jeans that should’ve died in the 80’s. I imagine she must’ve felt sorry for me.

Oh, and I was supposed to do something with one of my friends today, but she never called. And hey, if you’re her, and you’re reading this, just know that I’m very much on the verge of becoming slightly perturbed with you. Dork.
