The fact that I have less than thirty days left as a teenager gives me that sort of weariness that you get when you’re expect disappointment. In less than a month, I’ll be able to say, “Yeah, those were my teenage years,” followed by, “…yeah…,” followed by me going back to my spot in the corner.

I had a very Palahniuk-esque thought at work today, while I overheard some frighteningly beautiful girls debate the cuteness factor of past and present presidents. Think along the lines of, “I would totally never do George Bush, eeeep!” The following popped into my head, verbatim: You can’t just watch people self-destruct. At some point, you’ve got to step in and destroy their world yourself.”

Y’know? Something in the vein of revealing beauty by removing everything else, everything unnecessary, and yeeeeeah I have work at 6 am tomorrow.
